Manos Kitsikopoulos, a native of Greece, is widely recognized as one of the country's most versatile musicians and pianists. He pursued his education at London's prestigious Royal Academy of Music, where he had the privilege of studying with renowned pianist Joanna MacGregor. During his time at the academy, Manos earned his Master of Arts degree in Piano Performance with distinction, as well as the esteemed titles of DipRAM and Artist Diploma (level 8 Doctorate).
Throughout his studies at the Royal Academy, Manos received strong support from esteemed institutions such as the Onassis Foundation, the Athena Scholarship, and the Life Action Trust. As a musician with immense versatility, Manos excels in performing a wide range of repertoire, as well as improvising and composing music.
Notable performances in his current season include a collaboration with the Orquesta Symphonica de la Region de Murcia in Spain, where he performed Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto under the baton of Martinez. Additionally, his themed piano recital titled "Piano in Love" at the Arhens Megaron Concert Hall was a sold-out success. Manos has also showcased his talents in performances accompanying silent movie masterpieces such as "Potemkin Battleship," "Sunrise," and "Nosferatu," where he composed original music and performed live at the Athens Megaron Concert Hall.
Manos has been the recipient of several prestigious awards throughout his career, including the DipRAM award from the Royal Academy of Music in 2013, the LIoyd Hartley Prize in 2012, the Dorothy Briant Award in 2015, and the 1st Prize, Grand Prix of the ClaMo International Piano Competition in Spain in 2019. In December 2016, he was honored with the "Eleni Mykoniou" Prize by the Academy of Athens.
His musical journey has taken him to esteemed venues around the world, including the Royal Festival Hall, Kensington Palace, Royal Opera House, and Dukes Hall in the United Kingdom, as well as the Odeon of Heroes Atticus and Athens Megaron Concert Hall in Greece, and the Auditorio Victor Vilegas in Spain, among others.
